Business Manager

Full-Time Furniture Manufacturing and Showroom

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic & Business Planning
  • Develop and implement annual business plans and budgets aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Monitor business performance, analyse trends, and recommend corrective measures to ensure target achievement.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies for business expansion.

2. Sales & Marketing Management

  • Oversee sales operations across the showroom and corporate clients to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Supervise marketing and promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility and market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, interior designers, real estate developers, and other stakeholders.

3. Production & Operations Oversight

  • Coordinate closely with the production team to ensure timely, high-quality manufacturing of furniture products.
  • Monitor production schedules, raw material usage, and stock levels to minimize waste and cost overruns.
  • Ensure adherence to quality control standards and continuous improvement in production efficiency.

4. Financial & Administrative Management

  • Oversee budgeting, cost control, and financial performance of the business unit.
  • Work with finance to track expenses, manage cash flow, and ensure profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labour laws, and safety standards.

5. Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise and motivate cross-functional teams including sales, production, logistics, and customer service.
  • Set performance targets, conduct appraisals, and provide coaching and mentorship.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and teamwork.

6. Customer Experience & After-Sales Service

  • Ensure exceptional customer service across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee handling of customer feedback, complaints, and product warranty cases promptly and professionally.
  • Support the design and implementation of customer retention programmes.

 

Technical Skills

  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and operational performance.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

Education & Requirements

Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or related field.

Experience: 3 years

Industry Experience: Manufacturing, retail, or furniture/interior design sectors.
